Grissom Middle School held its Veterans Day ceremony today after a weather delay earlier this week.
Students invited veterans to attend and honored them with carnations, poems, and letters of gratitude. The band, orchestra, and choir also performed in recognition of their service.

Mrs. Kylee Wetzel’s Play School class welcomed a special guest for Veterans Day — Sergeant Chane, a Marine and the father of one of Penn's Early Childhood Education students.
He shared stories from his time serving in Iraq and brought along special items from his service for the students to see.
